What a great week it has been! We spent most of our week getting accustomed to how our room flows; like when to line up, how to sit on the circle rug, how to walk in the halls, how to play in the centers, how to sit in music, and the list could go on and on. The kids did a great job and by Wednesday and Thursday they were pretty settled into the routine of things. They seem like a great group and I can tell already that we are going to have a spectacular year!

Next Week:
We will be working on the letter "Ff" and talking about our homes and families.
We will start small groups this week were we will work on sequencing events, our poem of the week, our environmental folder, math activities and language activities. In the science center they will be building their house with graham crackers and candies. In the art center they will be making their families with paper dolls.
We will be learning the story of the three bears and working on small, medium and large. We will use our counting bears on the circle rug to sort bears by color and size.

We have a busy week planned and can't wait to see everyone on Monday. Remember, we do go outside every day so please have the kids wear shoes that keep the mulch from hurting them.
